A Year of Impact at Grace House: Thank You for Making a Difference!

It has been an incredible year of growth, impact, and community here at Grace House, and none of it would have been possible without the dedication and generosity of our supporters, funders, volunteers, and partners. Together, we have empowered children, young people and their families across the North East to access life-changing support, opportunities and experiences.

Here’s a snapshot of the difference your support has made over the past year:

  • ‍‍ New Families Registered: 172
We welcomed 172 new families into the Grace House community, offering guidance, support and a safe place to belong.

  • Disabled Children & Young People Supported: 273
Through our tailored programmes, we supported young people to build confidence, independence and friendships.

  • Counselling Sessions Delivered: 1,146
Our counselling team provided emotional support and wellbeing guidance to families facing challenges.

  • Youth Group Sessions: 820
These sessions gave young people the chance to socialise, develop life skills, discover new interests and have fun.

  • Social Group Sessions: 98
From creative workshops to community activities, these sessions reduced isolation and helped families connect.

  • ‍♀️ Parent Carer Support Hours: 524
We provided crucial wellbeing support to parents and carers, giving them time to relax, connect and recharge.

  • Work Experience Hours: 331
We created inclusive opportunities for young people to gain real skills and boost their future prospects.

  • Total Participants Across All Activities: 892
Almost 900 people benefited from our services, spaces and support over the year.

More Than Just Numbers

Each of these numbers represents a story of progress, resilience and hope. Behind every counselling session is a young person finding their voice. Behind every youth club session is a family gaining support. Behind every hour of parent carer support is someone finally taking a breath.

At Grace House, we believe everyone deserves the chance to thrive — and this year has proven just how powerful our community can be when we come together.

A year of impact thanks to your support – together we’ve changed lives across the North East

Thank You

We could not have achieved any of this without:

Our families
Our dedicated staff and volunteers
Funders and supporters
Local businesses and community partners
Everyone who attended events, donated, sponsored or shared our posts

Together, we are changing lives.
