Susan is Grace House’s Skill Development Officer. She facilitates young people in learning new life skills and manages the work experience programme. This can be either at Grace House or off site at SEN schools or other provisions and businesses.

Susan was born and bred in Sunderland and trained as a Primary School Teacher at Sunderland University.  She has worked in a variety of schools in and around Sunderland in a range of roles including Class Teacher, Senco and Deputy Headteacher.

At home she lives with her husband, two daughters and three dogs who love to be walked. In her spare time she loves to meet up with friends and travel to new places. Sometimes she can be found dipping in the North Sea.
