Random Acts of Kindness

Random acts of Kindness are an easy way to spread cheer to everyone. Whether you decide to spend time talking to one of your friends or you donate to charity.

Ways to Celebrate:

  1. Smile and Greet: Something as simple as a smile and a warm greeting can brighten someone’s day. Take a moment to connect with those around you.
  2. Write a Note of Appreciation: Handwrite a note expressing gratitude or appreciation and leave it for someone to find – a colleague, a friend, or even a stranger.
  3. Volunteer Your Time: Offer your skills or time to Grace House. Your contribution, no matter how small, can have a big impact.
  4. Surprise Acts of Kindness: Leave a surprise for a neighbour to let them know you appreciate their presence in your community.
  5. Compliment Someone: Take a moment to genuinely compliment someone. It could be their work, their style, or even their positive energy. Your words have the power to uplift.
  6. Create a Kindness Chain: Encourage others to join the movement. Share your acts of kindness on social media and tag Grace House to inspire others and spread joy.
  7. Donate to Grace House: Become a Grace House Guardian to help us continue enriching the lives of disabled children, young people and their families.
  8. Organize a Kindness Event: Bring your community together for a day of spreading kindness.

Kindness is contagious. The smallest act goes a long way, and on Random Acts of Kindness Day, let’s make the world a better place.

Take photos of you taking part in a random act of kindness and send them to [email protected] This is Callum and Thomas, great friends who come to our youth groups and access other services here at Grace House. They both always show kindness to others and especially each other when they attend Grace House.
