Victoria Brown

Chief Executive Officer

Victoria was born and raised in Sunderland, She came to Grace House in 2017 as CEO.

She attended Teeside University and graduated in 1991. Her degree required her to complete a work-based placement and she found herself at Sunderland Volunteer Bureau. From that point on her career she has always been in the voluntary sector focusing on social care. She worked with Age UK Sunderland for 17 years and for 10 of those years she was in the senior management team.

Victoria still lives in Sunderland with her two grown up children and a Labradoodle called Sydney. She enjoys dog walking, trips to the cinema and eating out with friends.

About her role as CEO, Victoria says:

“Grace House allows me to spend time with disabled young people and their families, which is by far my favourite part of my job. Grace House is a local charity doing it utmost to support disabled children and young people and their families. We provide a fun, safe, exciting environment where children can come and live life to the full.”
